The resort is around 10 minutes by car and shuttle bus to the centre of Patong and overlooks Patong bay in a South facing direction.
As you head on the road into Patong there are several resorts and restaurants that offer good dining options overlooking Patong bay. Pan Yaah restaurant just below the Indochine resort is a good local seafood restaurant recommendation.
The Nakalay resort is also connected by shuttle bus to Kamala, a large sandy beach resort town with a range of facilities, restaurants and bars. Heading slightly further north is the small secluded Laem Singh beach that is very popular but is located down a track. Just beyond that is Surin beach with its famous beach clubs and luxury resorts that have hosted royalty and the rich and famous. This also becomes the gateway into the Laguna area which is an integrated resort complex with golf courses, beach clubs, dining and shopping options.
